Robyn has worked in the medical indemnity industry since 1998 in both Perth and Melbourne.
Prior to this, following completion of a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Australia, Robyn worked as a commercial litigation lawyer in a private legal practice and as in-house counsel in a multinational company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. Robyn gained a wealth of insurance experience from these roles including conducting insurance contracts litigation (on behalf of insured clients and insurance companies) and managing an insurance program for a corporate group (with an annual turnover in excess of $4 billion) including coordination of the annual insurance renewal and oversight of insurance claims.
Robyn moved into the medical indemnity industry when she accepted a senior management role with Western Australia’s major medical indemnity organisation. Robyn’s association with that organisation for over 15 years as it grew and nationalised included senior management, employment and consulting roles in all areas of the business including Client Services, Insurance & Underwriting, Claims Management, Compliance, Information Systems, Business Practice & Process Improvement, Statutory Reporting, Communications and project roles. During that time, she also obtained a post graduate Diploma in Computing from Monash University.

Sandy has worked in the medical indemnity industry for decades. She began her work in London with the UK's Medical Defence Union (MDU) (the world's first and the UK's leading medical defence organisation) in the area of recruitment, marketing and business development. She later emigrated to Perth where she was head-hunted by MDU Sydney to work as their Western Australian Recruitment Officer. After excelling in this role, Sandy was approached by Western Australia's major medical indemnity organisation to head up their Student & Junior Doctor recruitment. When the organisation nationalised several years later, Sandy was elevated to the position of National Liaison Manager and was ultimately responsible for overseeing all recruitment and business development, including the Doctors in Practice segment, in all five State offices. She held this position until her decision to travel overseas.
Sandy's substantial expertise across several medical indemnity insurers has focused on recruitment, marketing, and business development where she has achieved successful results at state and national levels.
